What the good reverend is trying to say is that here at Public Domain, we are a community of thinkers.
Idea-people if you will.
The Proverbial "Imagineers" of the art community.
Or at least we hope to one day be of the distinction.
Along these lines Xen has linked to various sites who are similar to PUBLIC DOMAIN.
In essense this is a place in which ideas will be shared, expanded upon and warped to suit the needs of those who use them.
So if you have any misgivings about your characters and the locations you've set them in, then by all means keep them to yourself, but we are not here to steal.
No, we are here to share.
And in so doing, we hope to build an expansive Universe in which hundreds, if not thousands of characters may interact and play with, and off of one another.
